Your activities

Varied daily work routine in the context of the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to international accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS, Italian law) as well as according to the German Commercial Code (HGB) for AIDA Cruises and other companies of the group
Inclusion and implementation of business procedures specific to the cruise industry;the role is to support the development of the department through the implementation of own ideas

and to support the implementation of the accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS and HGB) for AIDA Cruises and other companies in the group

Working in an international environment with colleagues from group companies in Italy, Great Britain and the USA

Active participation in the further development of the department through the implementation of own ideas

Your qualifications

Studies in economics with a focus on accounting or a commercial professional training with advanced training as a balance sheet accountant (m/f/d)
Multi-year professional experience in financial accounting and / or auditing (USGAAP/IFRS knowledge wü
Good ERP skills (ideally Oracle)
Good English and German skills and confident in MS Office 365, especially Excel
High affinity for numbers and good analytical skills
Flexibility, innovative strength, an independent and reliable way of working and strong communication skills
