Your activities
This is what you can expect on your trip with us:
- Operative management of several bars on board in consultation with the Service Manager F&B team
- Overall responsibility for the smooth running of the assigned bars and the associated administrative tasks
- Technical and disciplinary management of the entire bar team
- First point of contact for your bar team and creation of rosters
- Responsibility for control, ordering and inventory of all spirits and luxury foods
- Presence in the bars during service hours and first point of contact for guests
- Contract duration of your first assignment: 5 – 6 months, subsequent follow-up contracts possible
Your qualifications
What you bring on board:
- Training in the restaurant/hotel sector as well as experience as a bartender, bartender or in a similar position, ship experience on board a cruise ship desirable
- A broad knowledge of cocktails and spirits, which you are happy to share with your team
- Organizational talent with leadership skills
- Resilient, reliable and motivated personality with a hands-on mentality
- Groomed appearance and excellent manners
- Very good German and good English skills
- Good IT skills (use of the cash register system, calculations, orders)
