You have a passion for gastronomy, but durian and halo-halo are foreign words even for you? With your job as a Commis de Rang (Junior Restaurant Steward) you look über the edge of the plate and serve not dishes, but experiences:
- Knowledge of menus and presentation for the guests
- Taking orders and entering them into the ordering system
- Knowledge üabout food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest service and etiquette
- Knowledge üof appropriate table settings, service equipment and menu items
- Processing and referring guest complaints
- In special cases, flexible deployment in other service areas
- Contract duration of your first assignment: 5 – 6 months, subsequent follow-up contracts possible
- Your advancement will be based on your availability in connection with the assignment planning on board and is generally possible all year round on every day of the month
This is what you bring on board:
- Qualified training in the hotel industry or in the catering
- Min. 1 year of professional experience in service
- Very good product and service knowledge
- Good computer skills – Rescom / comparable cash register software
- Good German & English skills (spoken and written)
- Very good general education
- High willingness to provide service to guests and crew members
