Your activities

This is what awaits you on your journey with us:

Leading the IT team on board
Responsibility for the performance and professional operation of all IT networks and IT systems on board including Internet and on-board portal, multimedia platforms, IT part of the V-Sat system, servers, databases, network, hardware and accessories
Independent care, maintenance and repair of all IT elements on board
Administration of the Microsoft-based IT – infrastructure, including ship communication (SatComm – TV (MS1+MS2 only) / data / Internet) virtualization environment, (ESX Farm)
Ship-internal support service in the IT area; assisting all areas (hotel and deck & amp; engine) in case of uncertainties
Remedy of problems and failures in the IT area
Setting up, dismantling and operating the check-in stations when changing passengers
Contract duration of your first assignment: 4 months, subsequent follow-up contracts possible

Your qualifications

What you bring on board:

Qualified training in the IT sector with at least 2 years of professional experience, preferably on a cruise ship
Understanding of business administration, budget-safe working, ability to present and analyze economic targets
Very good German & English skills (written and spoken)
High willingness to provide service
Assertiveness, flexibility and organizational skills
Confident and confident appearance, good manners
