Versatility is your greatest talent and you also want this from your job? As a Junior Disposition Manager Entertainment Services (f/m/d) at sea chefs you can expect not only a varied job in the entertainment team – you will also dive into the world of seafaring!

  • Ensure continuous staffing of entertainment positions on board the My Ship and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises fleets (focus on manager, technician and actor positions) taking into account the job requirements and specifications of the operational departments
  • Creation and communication of deployment plans for the positions to be responsible
  • Organization, implementation and evaluation of castings in the acting area in close cooperation with the specialist department
  • Close cooperation and communication with the recruiting team regarding positions to be filled as well as close cooperation with Manning agencies
  • Support with personnel marketing measures for the entertainment area (online & print products)
  • Maintenance and optimization of the employee pool including employee development
  • Contract and fee negotiations within the scope of assignment planning (taking into account budget requirements)
  • Support in briefings for the entertainment positions to be filled on board
  • Regular reporting
  • Contribute to administration and organization in the department

What you bring:

  • Completed studies in theater or cultural management advantageous or corresponding professional experience
  • Ideal work experience on board a cruise ship and/or in the field of scheduling, preferably in the cultural or theater sector
  • Interesting affinity
  • about the area to be supervised

  • Working within budget while adhering to economic targets
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Organizational talent, self-starter and the ability to motivate employees
  • Resilience, reliability and integrity
  • Sure computer skills (especially MS Office)
  • Very good German and good English skills in speech and writing
