Your activities

Versatility is your greatest talent and you want the same from your job? As a Newbuild Technical Supervisor (f/m/d) at sea chefs, you can expect not only a varied job in the entertainment team – you will also dive into the world of seafaring!

  • Responsible for the entertainment technology departments on board, in close exchange with the contact persons of TUI Cruises (ship owner), for

    • the current new building Mein Schiff 7: from 3 months before commissioning until the christening

    • as well as for the following new building (limited until 31.03.2025)

    • Service Headquarters: Shipyards in Turku, Finland & Parlermo, Italy

  • Supervision of the Übergaben in the technical area on board from the shipyard to the ship owner TUI Cruises

  • Documentation and archiving of all relevant Vorgänge and documents for the newbuilding as well as other related administrative tasks

  • Support for the technical department of TUI Cruises regarding preparation of the newbuildings and contact person forüfor claims after ship handover

  • &Overview and supervision of quality and service standards in the technical area on board the newbuildings

  • First point of contact for and close cooperation with TUI Cruises;r and close cooperation with TUI Cruises Entertainment Technology on issues related to the operation and processes on board the newbuildings

  • Collaborate closely with the Travelling Team regarding the operation on board

Your qualifications

What you bring with you:

  • Founded education & knowledge in the field of event technology (light, sound, video, Bühne)
  • Experience in a management position in the field of event technology
  • Good management skills in a multicultural and dynamic environment, pronounced team and communication skills
  • ;experience on a cruise ship an advantage
  • Willingness to travel
  • Organizational talent, very precise and structured way of working, self-reliance and decisiveness
  • Enjoyment of a control function
  • Awareness of quality and the importance of quality;r Qualität and costs
  • Stressability, reliability and integrity
  • Sure EDP handling (especially MS Office)
  • Very good German and English knowledge in word and writing
